2 October: "BITĖ" mobile internet reaches record speed of mobile internet in Europe - up to 7.2 Mbps. "BITĖ" customers were the first to use it in Lithuania and the Baltic states.
8 June: "BITE" awarded as the best cooperation partner in Latvia.
March: 200,000th customer joins "BITE Latvija"
"BITĖ" customers are the first and only in the market to make Internet calls (Skype, Google talk and MSN)
New shareholders of BITĖ Group - "Mid Europe Partners"

BITE Latvia receives "Merkurijus 2005" award as Company of the Year and also wins special award as "News of the Year".
Video calls started.
7 June: "BITĖ" becomes one of the first in Europe and the first in Lithuania to implement the world's fastest 3G mobile internet, based on HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) standard. "BITĖ" starts providing its customers mobile data services that are 10 times faster compared to the normal 3G (UMTS) connection.
26 April: "BITĖ" presented as the widest choice of 3G services in the Baltics.

10 year anniversary - "Žmonės" performance of A.Cholina, created specially for "BITĖ" birthday.
July: "BITĖ" begins a unique Lithuanian art project - "BITĖ Open Art".
April: "BITĖ" customers are the first in Lithuania to watch TV news (from LNK) and read newspapers on their mobile phones.
2005-2007: BITĖ implements the first internet security project in the Baltic States.
"BITĖ Group" established
"BITE" obtains UMTS/GSM license in Latvia - "BITE Latvija" started
"BITĖ GSM" becomes „BITĖ Lietuva".

"BITĖ" offers a completely new mobile service - "BITĖ Online", which is sold and served on the internet.
February 06: 500,000th customer joins BITĖ".

Mobile internet on the computer - "BITĖ Biz" service
"BITĖ Plus" portal - mobile internet on the phone - music, pictures and wide choice of mobile content services. "BITĖ" was the first to offer colourful logos and polyphonic melodies.
"BITĖ" pioneers offering wholesale services - opening the door to a new market player and fostering competition.
July: First "Bitėland".
June 22: "BITĖ" and the world's largest mobile operator "Vodafone" sign an international partnership agreement. "BITĖ" customers now use "Vodafone World" and benefit from low and simple tariffs in more than 100 countries around the world.
October 9: "BITĖ" is the first in Lithuania and among the first in Europe to present EDGE mobile data services technology ("Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution"), at a speed three times higher than existing GPRS speed in the market. It is a revolutionizing event, giving a start to wide use of mobile internet.

The service "SMS parking" (unique in Europe) was launched in Vilnius and Kaunas.
October 16: "BITĖ" presents MMS and mobile content services.

Launches "BITĖ" mobile content portal "Banga", which turns into the largest mobile internet portal "BITĖ Plus".
"BITĖ" is the first in Lithuania to provide mobile data services and starts a new era of mobile connection in the country. Customers can check e-mail and send/receive information with their mobile phones.

First SMSs sent
"BITĖ" is the first in Eastern Europe and Lithuania to offer pre-paid LABAS services.
