BITĖ Group appoints CEO of “BITE Latvija”

Today BITĖ Group announced that Fred Hrenchuk, 44, has been appointed as CEO and the Chairman of the Management Board of “BITE Latvija” as well as a Member of the Management Board of “Bitė Lietuva“. He will join the company from August 1, 2007.

Previously Mr. Hrenchuk was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and a Member of Board of Directors with Vodafone, Czech Republic (formerly Oskar Mobil). Before that he held senior positions at Connex (now Vodafone Romania). During his 8 year tenure at „Telesystem International Wireless“ (TIW owned operators in both the Czech Republic and Romania) he made significant contributions towards successfully building both mobile operators from start-up until their acquisition by Vodafone in 2005.

Mr. Hrenchuk brings extensive experience in network and technology management as well as customer operations and sales and distribution. Before taking the position of CTO at Vodafone Czech he has served as Vice President Customer Care, Direct Delivery and IS/IT where he led the launch of a highly innovative and successful distribution channel – Oskar’s Direct Delivery.
