BITĖ Group appoints new Chief Financial Officer

BITĖ Group, one of the largest telecommunications groups in the Baltic states, consisting of "Bitė Lietuva" and "Bite Latvija" announces Mr. Nikita Sergienko as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the Management Board taking office on 3 August, 2009. Mr. Sergienko succeeds Mr. Martin Amtoft-Christensen, former CFO and member of the Management Board.

Mr. Sergienko was employed by Tele 2/Millicom Cellular BV team in Russia for several years where he rose to the position of Executive Vice President, CFO. Nikita holds MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business, is a registered CPA (Certified Public Accountant), and has a CMA/CFM (Certified Management Accountant/ Certified in Finance Management) certificate.

Chairman of the Supervisory Council of BITĖ Group Bruno Ducharme said: "In Mr. Sergienko we have an excellent professional who has proven credentials to make a difference to the business, and I am delighted to welcome Nikita Sergienko to BITĖ team."

Martin Amtoft-Christensen a member of BITĖ Group Management Board and CFO, and took an instrumental role in development of BITĖ Group financial operations as well as investor, bank and shareholder relations management.
