Bitė awarded as best cooperation partner in Latvia

Bitė has been granted a Nameja Award as the Best Lithuanian Company – Cooperation Partner for Latvian enterprises. Nameja Awards were initiated by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, Latvian Investment and Development Agency, Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Latvian Embassy in Lithuania.According to the Latvian Ambassador in Lithuania Hardijs Baumanis: “This award should strengthen cooperation between Lithuania and Latvia, as Lithuania is Latvian largest trade partner.”

The purpose of Nameja Awards was to name the most successful and active Latvian enterprises and businessmen in Lithuania. Bitė was given a special award for its cooperation with Latvian businesses. Awards were granted in the following categories: the most rapid growth, the most significant investments, investments into knowledge economy: education and improvement of qualification, best employer, investments into Lithuanian regional development and the best-known Latvian brand.
It is a second time that a BITE Group subsidiary receives an award. In 2006 BITE Latvia was given Merkurijus 2005 award as Company of the Year and also won special award as News of the Year.
